Privacy Policy
VRKSJP & Co, Chartered Accountants (“we”, “us”) operates vrkassociates.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, who processes it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules.
1. What we collect and why

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on a form or by accepting analytics cookies. We do not use it for automated decisions, advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
2. Who processes your data
- Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, database, file storage, serverless functions) — enquiries and applications are stored in a Google Cloud Firestore database located in the United States; résumé files are stored in Google Cloud Storage in Mumbai, India.
- Google Analytics — only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Our partners and staff who need the data to answer your enquiry or assess your application. Access is limited by role and logged.
We may disclose data where the law requires it.
3. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last reply, then deleted.
- Job applications and résumés: up to 12 months after the position is filled or the application is closed, unless you ask us to keep your details for future openings.
- Rate-limit and security logs: a few days to 13 months.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see section 5).
4. How we protect it
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), uploads are checked and scanned for malware, the database is not publicly readable, staff access is role-based with multi-factor sign-in for administrators, and backups are kept for disaster recovery. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
5. Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, erase it, or withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing already done). You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you. Write to admin@vrkassociates.com with the subject “Privacy request”; we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Cookies
This site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. Choose “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice. The sign-in area for our staff and clients (/app) uses a security service (Google reCAPTCHA) that sets technical cookies to protect against abuse.
7. Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date above.
